Hi,

I'm Steve Forsty, the owner, operator, and full time instructor at Custom Dog Training. I have been involved in the pet industry since 1975 and have been training dogs professionally for 25 years. Through the years I have worked for and involved myself with a variety of training organizations and training clubs. Each experience was a unique and valuable learning opportunity. I have worked for large private commercial and non-profit training kennels. I have personally instructed thousands of training classes both group and private.

Currently, most of my work is with family dogs in need of basic obedience skills and problem solving common behavior issues that people experience with their pets. I instruct classes and private lessons on a full time basis at Custom Dog Training. Helping people to understand, to have fun, and pleasantly co-exist with their dog is a good description of my job. My greatest reward is to see the success that people experience in training their dogs.
