How Much Flint River Ranch Dog Food should I feed?  Because Flint River Ranch dog food products are high-density, you should feed 20-25% less than other foods.  Each serving delivers the maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll notice less stool volume and cleanup.  Generally, you can free-feed dogs through their first year.  Feed your adult dog once or twice daily.  Quantities will vary based on the climate, breed of dog and activity level.  You want to feed an amount that will maintain the dog's weight.  Suggested daily guidelines:  20-30 lbs, 1 to 1.5 Cups; 40-50 lbs, 2 to 2.2 Cups; 60-70 lbs, 2.5 to 3.2 Cups; 80-99 lbs, 3.5 to 4.7 Cups.   How Much Flint River Ranch Cat Food should I feed?  Feed Kittens about 3 times a day up to 6 months; older than  6 months, feed 2 times per day.  Adult Cats (1 year and older) can be fed 1 or 2 times daily.  Your cat should be looking for food when the next meal is due - Flint River Ranch does not recommend free-feeding cats or dogs.  The amount your cat can eat in 15-20 minutes is the amount you should serve per feeding.  Adjust the amount of food as you notice a marked increase or decrease in the cat's weight.
